11.11.11

Why is this such a special day today? Well, for one, it's Veterans Day and we get to honor all of the men and women who have fought for our freedom. Another thing has to do with luck. 11:11 is said to be the time when your wishes come true. I am not going to deny it. On 11.11 three years ago someone showed remorse on a bad act they had been committing against me for years. Two years ago today I got accepted to ASU on a full ride scholarship. One year ago today was my last day at Harkins San Tan and life has not been the same since. I have learned to step out of my comfort zone and have learned how to put up with unnecessary attitudes and people who want to take you down. For the record, I have always won and always will.

What about today? Well, nothing special happened, but that's ok. I know that someone out there today had a lucky day. I woke up with a smile and that's how I will fall asleep. What else can a woman ask for? :) <3 I'm happy and have finally figured out how this world works and make the best of it. I have the best relationships I have EVER had in my life.

I am so grateful of every single person in my life... from acquaintances, to best friends, to those who hold a special place in my heart. Every single person impacts my day to day life in such a positive direction. Even those who degrade me, you just make me be a stronger person, try harder, keep improving, and strive for excellence in everything I do. I have grown so distant from the person I used to be. I really do believe everything happens for a reason and sometimes good things have to fall apart so better things can fall together.

So for the last few minutes of 11.11... do me a favor. Don't wish for what you don't have, but enjoy what you have in the moment and make the best of it. That makes you the luckiest person in the world :) Happy 11.11.11 <3
